How do I search for a specific product?

There are three main ways of searching for a product on Brammer Online:

 

  • Quick Search Box: Generally the fastest method of searching.Simply enter a keyword (e.g. hammer), description (e.g. 10mm jobber drill) or manufacturer part number (e.g. 1-92-905) into the search box that appears at the top of every web page and click the magnifying glass icon.

 

  • Search by Product Category: View all products within a specific category by clicking on one of the product categories (e.g. Tools and Maintenance Products) shown on the left hand side of the home page and then clicking on the sub-categories as required (e.g. Hand Tools).

 

  • Search by Brand: View all products within a specific manufacturer brand range (e.g. DeWalt) by ticking the box next to one of the brands shown on the left hand side of the home page and clicking the ‘Filter’ button (to view the full list of brands, click on ‘See All Brands...’).


Can I refine/filter my search results?

Once you have started searching, you can filter your search results in one of three ways:

 

  • Filter by Product Category: Filter your results by a specific category by clicking on the one of the product categories (e.g. Tools and Maintenance Products) shown on the left hand side of the home page and clicking on the sub-categories as required (e.g. Hand Tools).

 

  • Filter by Brand: Filter your results by a specific manufacturer brand range (e.g. DeWalt) by ticking the box next to one of the brands shown on the left hand side of the home page and clicking the ‘Filter’ button (to view the full list of brands, click on ‘See All Brands...’).

 

  • Filter by Product Attribute: Filter your results by a product attribute (e.g. length) by clicking on the one of the product attributes shown on the left hand side of the home page and ticking the box next to the required attribute value (e.g. 16oz/450g).


How can I check if an item is in stock?

All of the items offered on Brammer Online are normally held in stock at our National Distribution Centre in the Midlands. There is also an indicator of stock availability held against all items on Brammer Online:

 

  • Stock Available - Indicates that there is a high level of availability for this item.  These items are generally shipped upon receipt of order.

 

  • Limited Stock Available - Indicates that available stock may not be sufficient to fulfil a large order.  Therefore total quantity required may not be despatched immediately.  For an accurate indication of stock availability, please contact your local branch on 0870 240 2100 for a real-time update.


How do I order an item that is not available on the site?

The range of products offered on Brammer Online represents our fastest-moving items.  If you wish to order something outside of this range, please contact your local branch on 0870 240 2100 and order it through your account as normal.


Why am I getting a 'connection error' message in the stock availability field?

If you see the words 'Connection Error' in the space where stock availability should be then please contact your local Brammer branch on 0870 240 2100 or via uk-support@brammer.email.
